An ex-pat American living in Hamburg, Germany. The things that keep me busy most of the time are:

• running two small businesses: a small independent record label and a translation agency
• fixing up / taking care of the (very old) house my husband and I bought two years ago – there’s always lots to do!
• my main hobby which is knitting (which is the main point of this blog)
• our two cats
• reading

I’m also very interested in vegetarian cooking, buying local, traveling when I have the chance, gardening, and I spend WAY too much time on Ravelry!
